Why can't I log into the app?

Common login issues and how to fix them

Still having trouble? Keep reading for some common reasons why you might not be able to log in.

Common Reasons for Login Issues

  • Incomplete registration: You won't be able to access the app until your registration is complete (see below).

  • Connectivity issues: Your network settings or connection may be preventing you from logging in.

  • Incorrect login details: Double-check that you're using the correct email address and password linked to your registration.

Incomplete Registration

You'll need to complete your registration before you can log in to the app. Follow the steps below to finish setting up your account:

  1. Click 'Login' at the top right of the homepage and enter your details.

  2. Select the blue 'SIGN UP' button and fill in the required details.

As part of your registration, you may also:

  • Join or create a team or organisation

  • Make a self-donation

  • Share your fundraising page (optional)

Once your registration is complete, download the Steptember app and log in using your registered email address and password.

Note: If your registration is not complete, you won't be able to access the app.

Connectivity Issues

If your registration is complete but you're still unable to log in, try the following steps:

  1. Delete the Steptember app from your device.

  2. Reinstall the app from your device’s app store.

  3. Turn off Wi-Fi and try logging in using mobile data instead.
