When you register for Steptember, an app account is automatically created for you.
You can log into the app using the same email and password you used when registering for Steptember 2026.
Common Reasons for Login Issues
Incomplete registration: You cannot access the app unless your account registration is complete.
Incorrect login details: Ensure you are using the email address associated with your registration.
Connectivity issues: Sometimes, network settings might block your ability to log in.
Ensure Your Registration is Complete
You need to complete your registration before you can log into the app. Follow these steps to complete your registration:
Visit the Steptember website.
Click 'Login' at the top right of the homepage.
Select the blue 'Register Now' button and fill in the required details.
Additional steps you may complete during registration include:
Joining or creating a team/organisation.
Making a self-donation.
Sharing your fundraising page (optional).
After successfully completing registration, download the Steptember app and log in using your registered email address.
Note: If your registration is incomplete, you will not be able to access the app.

If you are experiencing issues with your app, please go to your device's app store and ensure you are using the latest version of the app. Deleting and re-installing the app is a great way to ensure you have the most up to date version.
Troubleshoot Connectivity Issues
If your registration is complete but you still cannot log in, try these steps:
Delete the Steptember app from your phone.
Reinstall the app from your deviceās app store.
Disable Wi-Fi and attempt logging in using mobile data instead.
Note: Stepping and fitness activity data logged before September 1 will be cleared at 11:59 PM AEST on August 31. Ensure your progress begins after this reset.
