Before Registration
Your Team Captain will be prompted to invite you during the registration process, so hold tight and wait for your invite to land in your inbox (remember to check your junk mail).
*TIP - check with your captain which email address they sent the invite too - this will avoid duplicate accounts. If you haven’t registered yet and receive an invite to join a team, follow these steps:
Look for the email invitation sent by your Team Captain (remember to check your junk/spam folder).
Click the "Join My Team" link provided in the email. You will then be prompted to enter your details to complete your individual registration.
Once completed, you will automatically be added to the team.
If you are not registered yet and have been invited to a team this is the invite link you can use. This link will only work if you have been invited and you are NOT registered yet for the 2026 event. https://www.steptember.org.au/register/invite/au-26
After Registration
If you are already registered and need to join a team, please ask your Team Captain to invite you and wait for your invite to land in your inbox (remember to check your junk mail). Before you click on the link make sure you are logged in first and then click the link to join your team.

Alternatively, if you HAVE been invited but have NOT received an invite email, you can manually use this link and insert the team name at the end. https://www.steptember.org.au/join/insertteam_url
For this link to work you must have been invited first by your captain.
