How do I login to my STEPtember account if I have forgotten my password?

Tips on how to login if you have forgotten your password and how to update your password once logged in

Step 1: Click on the Login Link

To reset your password, you will first need to click 'LOGIN' on the Steptember.org.au website. You can find this link in the top right corner of the page. Alternatively, you can click here to go directly to the login page.

Step 2: Locate the "Forgot Password" Link

On the login page, you will see a link that says "Forgotten your password?" Click on this link to begin the password reset process.

Step 3: Enter Your Registered Email Address

You will be prompted to enter the email address associated with your STEPtember account. Make sure to enter the correct email address, as the password reset link will be sent to this email.

Step 4: Check Your Email

Once you have entered your email address, an email will be sent to you with a password reset link. Be sure to check your junk mail folder if you don't see the email in your inbox.

Step 5: Follow the Link and Set a New Password

Click on the password reset link in the email, this will take you to the website page where you can set a new password. Follow the instructions on the page to create a new password for your account.

Changing Your Password Once You Are Logged In

If you are already logged in to your STEPtember account and just want to change your password, you can do so by following these steps:

Step 1: Select 'My Account'

From the drop down menu select 'My Account'

Step 2: Select 'Reset Password'

Type in your new password using the password requirements below:

  • minimum 10 characters

  • at least 1 Uppercase

  • at least 1 lowercase

  • at least 1 number

  • at least 1 special character (e.g. $ ! @)

Step 3: Select 'Reset Password'

A green tick will display to confirm that your password has been updated.
