We have added in the daily step limit to help keep stepping competition fair and to improve accuracy on the Steptember leaderboards.
In addition to this step limit, an honesty system and automated alerts are utilised to ensure fair participation. Automated alerts aim to flag unusually high step entries for evaluation, promoting accuracy and fair play among participants.
The maximum number of steps you can log per day is 75,000.
This limit is designed to maintain fairness by preventing extreme discrepancies and encouraging realistic step counts.
If you try and log more than 75,000 steps on anyone day an error message will display.
These automated alerts help identify discrepancies for validation, ensuring any unusual entries are thoroughly reviewed.
Your extra steps will then go through a validation process and be accepted or rejected. The result should or should not show within 48hours.
Steptember also fosters trust through an honesty-based system, allowing participants to log their steps truthfully with automated systems monitoring for any irregularities.
If after this time frame you still need assistance with an entry approval please contact the Customer Support Team with the details of your activity for manual approval.
